My name is Simone Brokmeier. I was born in Munich in 1966. At the age of 16 I had the opportunity to live in California for two years. An experience that has influenced my life ever since. Not only did I learn (and learn to love) the English language and the easy life-style, it also broadend my view on both my hometown and origin.

Having been an English teacher for the past decade I decided to extend my field and become a tour guide. After my training as a tour guide I now work as an independent guide and for Tours by Locals.

I love to stroll around the city, visit all the churches and museums, read all the literature about Munich there is and would like to share all this with you: let me show you My Munich.
